Heart vs Mind.
In humans, the thinking process originates in the mind or brain located in a person's head. Logical, rational thinking is attributed to a person's brain or centre, but when it comes to emotional thinking, a person's heart takes precedence over their mind. When we think about feelings or emotions, we put our heart to work, so to speak. Of course, we know that the mind (the brain) and the heart are just two different organs in our body, but their differences are not limited to their appearance and functions, but to how we perceive or view those differences. This article attempts to distinguish between the heart and the mind, not on the basis of physics, but on the basis of how people think.
Mind
When we study biology, we are concerned with the human brain, not the mind. However, in everyday conversation, the mind is referred to as an entity that enables us to think and make decisions in a logical and rational manner. So when we think about a physical problem and its solution, we are actually using the ability of our brain or mind to come up with a solution. It is our mind that tells us what is right and what is wrong, and often helps us make decisions that are right for us as members of society.
It is our mind that tells us how to stay away from pain and dangerous situations. It is an organ that helps people avoid situations that can harm them. Again, it is our mind that tells us how to feel joy, and we indulge in activities that bring us joy.
Heart
According to science, the heart is an important organ in our body responsible for pumping blood to all parts of our body. We live as long as our heart is supplied with oxygen and it continues to pump blood. But if we believe in literature, the heart is assigned a very different role, that of controlling our feelings and emotions.
Although this is not the case and we think and feel based on what our brain perceives. Nonetheless, for artists and poets, our feelings are governed by the heart, and we make decisions based on what our heart says, especially when it comes to human relationships.
What is the distinction between the Heart and the Mind?
• According to science, the heart is an important organ that pumps blood to all of our body's vital organs and keeps us alive. The mind, or brain, is another important organ from which thinking emerges.
• However, according to artists, the mind controls our thought process and tells us what is right and wrong, while the heart governs our feelings.
• When we are in love, our hearts govern our minds, whereas in all other situations, our minds take precedence over our hearts.
